How does Pay Later with Klarna work?
Once your order has been confirmed, you’ll receive an email from Klarna with payment instructions within two days. You’ll then have 30 days to complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost. You can pay via credit or debit card at www.klarna.com/uk
How does Pay in 3 interest free instalments work with Klarna?
When selecting this option at the checkout you will be shown the total of your order split into three equal payments. You will be required to pay the first instalment at the checkout, the second after 30 days, and the third after 60 days. Klarna will contact you once the order has been placed within 2 working days about your future payments. Which will be made through Klarna, and not through Bordelle Ltd.
What details do I need to provide to Pay later or in 3 with Klarna?
To Pay later with Klarna, you will need to provide your mobile number and email address so that both us and Klarna can contact you with your payment statements and order updates.
To Pay in 3 you will be required to enter your payment details, along with your contact details at the checkout. This is because your first payment will be taken from your account when placing your order.
It is important that you provide the correct details, as otherwise you won’t receive the relevant payment information. This means that you’ll be liable for delayed payment fees.
Will you run a credit search against me if I Pay later with Klarna?
Neither Klarna nor Bordelle Ltd will run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. Klarna may run a quotation search which is an enquiry visible only to you, and no other companies, and will not affect your credit score.
What are my payment options with Klarna?
You will make your payment/s through Klarna via your credit or debit card at www.klarna.com/uk
What happens if I cancel or return my order?
After your request for cancellation has been confirmed by Bordelle Ltd, Klarna will cancel the payment statement and any refunds will be made within 5 working days.
To return your order, the usual protocol must be followed to arrange a Bordelle return (see here). Once the items have been received back at our warehouse, Klarna will refund any payments that have been made within 5 working days.
What happens if I don't pay my statement?
A Pay later payment is due 30 days after delivery. To help you pay on time, you will be sent a reminder email two days before payment is due. If the payment is late you will also be sent a text or letter.
For Pay in 3, you will be required to pay the first instalment at checkout, second instalment within 30 days, and the 3rd and final instalment within 60 days of the order being placed. You will be sent a reminder email two days before each payment is due, and a text or letter if the payment is late.
Please note that your credit score will be affected if you do not pay Klarna on time for your order.
Why has Klarna declined my order?
To be approved for Pay later/Pay in 3 with Klarna, you need to be 18 years of age or over, provide your accurate date-of-birth and UK billing address, have a valid bank account as well as having a good credit standing.
Please note that Klarna is an independent payment company and Bordelle Ltd has no influence over whether your payment with Klarna is accepted or not.
